The Thai resort of Pattaya is located on the eastern west coast of Thailand and is only about 120 km away from Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok. To get there you can just fly with one of the many inexpensive offers for around 600 € from Europe to Bangkok and after another 2 hours bus ride you are already at your destination.
Pattaya has its origin and development from a small fishing village to a town. Thanks to the US soldiers who went there during the Vietnam War to take a few days off to recover from the war experiences.

As a destination for immigrants or long-term tourists, Pattaya has similar advantages, as I have already described for the island of Phuket. There are restaurants with all types of international and local food and a nightlife that is incomparable in Thailand.
Several large shopping malls complete the feel-good effect for all expats in the city. There is virtually nothing that is not there.
Cheap Houses & Accomodation
A huge oversupply of hotels, condominiums, apartments and houses for rent, ensures that rental prices are relatively low when compared to other places in Thailand like Phuket, Krabi or Koh Samui.
Pattaya is the place for people who love the city- and night life but not just the landscape, since Pattaya has not too much landscape to offer.
